SAJNA`s leadership and members general assembly in Balkh Mazar-e Sharif.

The General Assembly of the Social Association of Journalists at North of Afghanistan was held in Balkh today with the presence of more than seventy journalists and members of the civil society organizations.

In this assembly the president of the association Mr. Gulab Shah Bawar, presented a report on the activities of the organization in the past two years to the board of directors and members of the general assembly.

After presenting the report on the activities of the association by Mr. Bawar, he requested that elections should be held to appoint a new leadership for SAJNA.

The election were held by attendance of 74 members of the association and five were selected as new board members out of seven candidates.

In this election, Bashir Sarwari was elected as the new president and CEO, Rahimullah Zawaak as vice president and the rest three were elected as the new board members.
