SAJNA`s leadership meeting with the head of Balkh Information and Cultural Directory.

Board members of the Social Association of Journalists at North of Afghanistan - SAJNA met today with officials of the Information and Culture Department of Balkh Province.

In this meeting, both sides emphasized on strengthening the coordination between the media institutions and government departments of Balkh.

Representatives of the Journalists Association also called for accurate and timely information from local officials in Balkh.

At this meeting, both sides agreed on holding professional training programs for journalists, and it was also discussed that SAJNA will hold workshops for government officials on explaining the law of free access to information.

SAJNA officials asked the Information and Culture department officials to work with security agencies to reduce violence against journalists.
