The second General Assembly of SAJNA was held to report on its activities

The second General Assembly of the Social Association of Journalists at North of Afghanistan was held in Balkh to report on its activities.

More than 100 journalists and representatives of civil society organizations were present in this assembly.

This assembly was held with the aim of presenting a report on the past two years activities of the SAJNA to the members of the general assembly and the board of directors.

Gulab Shah Bawar, president of the association, said that the association has coordinated dozens of news programs, workshops and press conferences of government agencies, non-profit organizations, institutions and embassies over the past two years.

He said that SAJNA had set up more than 50 training workshops specifically to professionalize journalists in Balkh, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul, Kabul and Herat provinces.

Mr. Bawar emphasized on expanding of organization`s activities around the country in second General Assembly of SAJNA in Balkh Afghanistan.
