SAJNA`s leadership met with US diplomats in the Balkh Province.

The board of directors of the Social Association of Journalists at North of Afghanistan met with the US Consul General and diplomats in Balkh.

The meeting focused on how to increase cooperation between the US Consulate in Balkh and the association of journalists.

Gulab Shah Bawar, president of the association, called for coordination between US diplomatic institutions and the Afghan media, he emphasized that media should be continuously supported.

At this meeting, both sides agreed to launch joint media capacity building programs to strengthen free media activities and the presence of women in the media of Afghanistan.
