SAJNA`s leadership meeting with women journalists and civic activists in Badakhshan.

The Social Association of Journalists at North of Afghanistan, in coordination with the GIZ office of German government organized a program under the name of (Afghan Media and thier Social Responsibility) in Badakhshan to highlight the role of the media in social changes in the northeastern zone.

This program was held exclusively for female journalists from Badakhshan, Takhar and Kunduz provinces in Faizabad City of Badakhshan province.

The main focus of the program was on empowering women in media activities and strengthening the role of the media in positive social changes.

More than 60 people including journalism students of Badakhshan university, journalists, media activists, civic activists and university professors were attended the program.

Gulab Shah Bawar, president of the association, called for the comprehensive presence of women in the in audio-visual media of the country.
