SAJNA Leadership held an academic advocacy meeting with the President of Sadaat University to provide scholarships for journalists in Balkh.

In this meeting, President of SAJNA Mr. Gulab Shah Bawar, emphasized on establishing cooperation between the Social Association of Journalists at North of Afghanistan and educational and academic institutions.

Mr. Bawar requested for scholarships for members of SAJNA in the north of the country.

Hekmatullah Arya, Chancellor of Sadaat University, accepted the request of the SAJNA leadership, he promised that Sadaat university will provide more than 40 journalists in Balkh with scholarships of more than 60 percent discount.

Both sides also agreed to hold training and professional workshops for journalists in Balkh.
