The Special Representative of the United Nations in Afghanistan has visited Kunduz province.

Roza Otunbayeva, has met civil society activists, including women, during her trip this northern province.

The UN Special Representative for Afghanistan has said that it`s now needed to have attention in this country for human rights issues, the restoration of Afghanistan`s banking system and the improvement of people`s living conditions.

At the beginning of this month, Mrs. Otunbayeva started her work with the caretaker government of the Taliban as the United Nations Special Representative in Afghanistan.

At the same time, along with the increase in the deadly attacks of the ISIS group in Afghanistan, climate change in this country has caused drought and increased hunger among Afghans.
