Afghan media and journalists need continuous support.

Hujatullah Mujadadi, the director of the Afghanistan Independent Journalists Union, and Ali Akbar Ahmadi, the manager of Social Association of Journalists at North of Afghanistan - SAJNA, met in Kabul.

Both sides emphasized on improving the working conditions of journalists and the independent activities of the media in the country and asked for the cooperation of institutions for supporting journalists at risk.

Both organizations described the economic situation of the Afghan media is worrying and asked for the help of international organizations to support journalists in the area of expanding media activities in Afghanistan.
